5 Second Summary:

Price Range- Prices vary daily (I paid $16 for a sandwich, salad, bottle of water, and 2 desserts.)
Ambiance- Casual, fresh air cafe
Cuisine- Local, organic, sustainable sandwiches, salads, soups, and baked goods
Hits- A great way to sample Blue Hill’s fresh flavors without a reservation (and at a reasonable price!)
Misses- Not a lot of seating (if it’s crowded, be prepared to sit on the ground with a tray on your lap.)

For once, I’m going to let the photos do the talking and say very little.  I’m in awe of the Stone Barns mission and James Beard Outstanding Chef Dan Barber.  If you live in the New York metro area, you should visit the center at least once, enjoy lunch, and stroll the grounds checking out this self-sufficient, environmentally sustainable farm that grows its own produce and raises its own poultry, pork, and beef.
